Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I didn't watch because the Miami game had significantly more entertainment potential. But I'll certainly peek into next weekend's game.

There you go, mojo - he'll arrive at 3 AM, tweaking like a meth addict, and demand to take one of your bikes for a century ride in the middle of the night.

Philly can't afford to lose that game, they'll never live it down.

Did you use a local anesthetic? I hope so.

I went to an ortho in high school with a swollen knee after a running accident. He drained 60 cc of blood, no local. The most painful thing I ever experienced (and I have broken a hip).

I could see him twisting the syringe back and forth, as I bit into the pillow stuffed into my mouth to muffle the screaming.

It's amazing how much more big public works projects cost here compared to other countries.

It didn't do a good job of capturing the iron content.

If it was really serious you'd be hanging out at the closest bike shop wearing bibs. "Can I ride test that...I'm thinking about buying it....."

I would think you'd probably need a lathe or mill to get the freehub body surrogate close enough to make that worthwhile. Plus the metrology tools to pull the dimensions off of the freehub.

Could be a fun project if you've got everything though!
