Prepare to drool your face off. I just scored this used Zinn custom ti bike off ebay, and it's Bill Cartwright's bike (former bulls center during the early Jordan years). Winning price was $1000! Here's the auction:
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
How do I know it's Bill's bike? Several reasons. I confirmed serial number with Zinn. I found some old threads on the net showing Bill's bike as an example of one of the biggest bike's ever seen, such as this foerign-language message board here:
https://www.velogon.ru/?m=47&publsid[2]=57&show=2
I took it out for it's first ride just today, and it was delicious. I am 6'8", and this bike borders on 'too big' for me, which I didn't even think was possible. It's got 210mm zinn cranks, all components are Campy Record. Here's a picture of my riding this stallion of a bike:

I just had to get on here and brag a little bit, because I am just so damned proud of this purchase. My friends, mostly noncyclists, are getting tired of me talk about this new bike (which I've named Bill Cartwright).

yeah, based on the pic I've seen from Zinn when the bike was first built, Bill had that seat much higher than I ride it. He had some pretty significant seat/handlebar drop, and I ride it with the two almost parallel.

I replaced his seat with an Avocet 40m, which I love, and I put a pair of speedplay zeroes on ... other than that, it's staying as-is. I don't think he rode the bike ever ... components look brand new. Plus, it's hard for me to find a wheelset that can handle my weight and power, but, this bike came with a bombproof, 36spoke pair.

Score! Good job. It is a very unique bike and seems to fit you. Are you going to change anything on it or keep it the way you bought it? Buying it was a slam dunk.

I was in the Navy with a guy that we nick named "Jeffey the giant". He was 6'8" when it joined but by the time he made it to the ship I was one he was 6'10" or 6'11" so they discharged him because he needed custom uniforms. You might have a similar issue with bike clothes.
Anyway, again great bike. It is a keeper so there is no need to replace it with a newer model.

Congrats on your new bike! That's a great deal and very nice. If you find the stack height to be too much, you could have the head tube cut/milled quite easily. I looked into doing this with my own ride in the past since I rarely can find a frame with a short enough stack height in my size.

Very good score irrespective of who the previous owner was. The fact that it was Bill Cartwright makes it that much cooler deal and a good story to tell as well.
