1992 bridgestone MB-2
Hello,
Attached are some pics of my ride. Bridgestone MB-2? It was metalic purple and it had a spcialized crank. If you know these bikes, what is it worth? It rides great, but is a little too sporty for my current uses.

It's a nice bike, but rigid fork MTBs are not big dollar bikes. Nice wheels, but without a disc hub, not really in demand. Repaint does not help the price. Still it's a Bridgestone, so that counts for a lot. I'd estimate it to be at the top of the rigid fork MTB prices and estimate around $150, maybe $175. IMHO, $200 is really pushing it. One point you did not show is the shifters/derailers. Are they anything special, like XT?

I would agree with Al if it was clean, had original decals, and so on. In that condition, maybe $175. But it is not. I think $100 in its current state is about the best I could do with it, probably less. Madison market is better than here, so maybe you can do better. I see some rust in the fork weep hole, but maybe it is just dirt.
+1 Bridgestones bring a nice premium, when they have original paint and graphics. There are always buyers looking for Bridgestones. But with that gone, I would be interested in seeing what it does bring.
+1 XT stuff does have good value (depending on condition), but I guess just the derailleurs and shifters are XT.

It's a nice bike and worth more, I think, than $100. Rigid mountain bikes make great commuters and that might help sell it in Madison.
