Around here, $25 to $50 as it sits (with those really awful tires). Buyers really zero in on tires, I think most believe tires are super expensive.

In addition, drop bar/women's style brings less.

Would also say only about $50 in most markets considering condition. These seem to go for only $100-125 in near perfect condition ready to ride.

Thank you. I told my friend about the selling price and was able to show him better condition bike for $50 so he said he would put it in the scrap metal bin. Makes me sad. I think I would offer it for free to a good home.

Thanks
Steve

Part it out, at least. That rear reflector is worth at least ten bucks to someone... https://compare.ebay.com/like/1210069...Types&var=sbar

Set of block pedals, comfort grips, clean seat, straight fenders, all stuff you can't find when you need them. Guess I should shut up and let the garbageman take it home.

Well I'm a cheap skate who hates to see bikes like this go to waste. So when I get I sell them as is as project bikes for $50 on CL there a Schwinn fans that will pay this for almost any vintage Schwinn if it's complete.

I almost sold one for 200 earlier this year, but I decided not to for sentimental reasons.
It's a good ride and if you put on $12 kenda tires you should be able to get 60-100 easily.

I would buy the bike for parts , if it was located close to me. [ N. Florida ] Or I would buy the spoke protector, seat, & handlebars, if all in good condition. Let me know by p.m.
