If you are serious about the bike, I would ask the seller a ton of questions about exact condition and for closeups of all the parts he skimmed over before bidding. For example, only one of the brake levers is pictured in detail. The last thing you want is to discover there's a ton of road rash on the one not pictured. There also appears to be a significant blemish on the fork crown. There's got to be an excellent story about how that happened...
I also don't like quotes like this: " If you are seeing this auction then I don't need to tell you anything more about the bike." I get what he's saying, but he's doing himself, and potentially the buyer a disservice by not listing every little detail about the bike. Condition is everything!
If everything checks out condition wise, what the seller is asking is extremely reasonable - especially with free the shipping. Expect the final bid to go north of $1,500 though...

What campy set up is that?
I'd ask for better pictures and more info before dropping $1k+
I'm gonna guess it will close between 1000-1500+, but I don't really know. I similar frame, paint in "fair" condition(rust) with a shimano600/dura ace mix went for $500 on our local CL, so I'd assume quite a bit more for this one.

Wheels Are listed as 27". I'd want an email confirmation on that.
would also need a ton of high quality photos before even thinking about this one.
Lazy seller.

I would be seriousely skeptical of this bike note the seller say's mostly Campy with no details and the nice pics seem to miss all of the major high value parts DR's, crank, shifters and the seller gives no real details, I list basic details on $100 beaters I sell on CL. Plus the free shipping come on for a whole bike seems kinda wonky I would just pass on this one.

Arrogant a**hole seller, huge PASS: " If you are seeing this auction then I don't need to tell you anything more about the bike."

Yes, I should have put a +10 on it, as you spotted it first. Can't believe someone selling a bike at that price point with such an attitude.
And the seller needs to wise up. On ebay, buyers win all disputes. I would much rather clear up ANY confusion on the bike before someone bids, than get the bike back after the auction, with me eating shipping both ways, enduring bad feedback, etc.

I agree with you 100% about eBay. I had a return once on a $1k bike frame. Long story, but I take extra care now to point out every little thing - almost to a point I'm worried about turning a potential buyer off... I think at the end of the day, though, buyers feel more at ease about making a big purchase if you're willing to pick your own item apart.....
