Seeking 69cm or larger frame or frameset

I'm baaaack!
I did this in 2008 - after two years of looking - obtained a 70cm (c-t) Gazelle!
I still ride the Gazelle, daily. The urge has hit me again and I am looking for
another big frame to play with. Should be a steel alloy - Reynolds 531 or similar. Miyata makes excellent frames, too, and Ishiwata tubes in frames are highly sought.

For you jokers out there, I am 6' 3" and have a 35" inseam.
Large frame are more comfortable. Thanks to T-mar and Marty for their help in the past.

For those who are uncertain about the appearance of a large frame, take a look at those in my signature.

Wow, that Gazelle is some freaky-deaky stuff! Love it! Thanks for sharing, Big Guy.

Gimme all your bikes! I disassembled my Fuji Royale a while back but that is one frame I will hold on to.

Come to think of it, I now have the necessary parts to put it back together.

your inseam is only 3" longer than mine, but you favor bikes 13cm taller.

Huh, you're my size, but like frames 7 cm larger. To each their own I guess.

This popped up on my local CL. He wants too much for it, but it's been on there a while, so he'd probably come down. Probably 4130 chro-moly, depending on the year.

Last 69cm bike I had, the stand over was 38 inches. YMMV. Its been a couple of years, may have some memory fade on this one. It was way tall for sure.

There are two conditions in life that determine your job, your house, your wife, your hobbies, etc.
1. You can do it. 2. It feels good.
That's why I ride big-frame bikes.
(It also keeps the short ones at bay that want to take a spin around the block/)

Who makes the Fuji tubes? If it is Ishiwata (on the steer tube) let me know what you want for it via PM.

Sorry, key word is "HAD", I should have been clearer. I sent this one to another forum member. This one was nice as it could handle really wide tires. I put a set of 700-38 from a hybrid and they fit just fine.

I have a Nishiki frame set that I'll never use, as my ideal size is about 55cm. It's chrome moly but that's all I remember. I can take pictures. What is your minimum weight requirement? This is a sport-touring geometry frame. It's all black.

I average about 190lbs. Yeah a picture would be nice. Don't bother if it's less than 68cm (c-c).
Thanks, da Beaver
