Classic and vintage collections to visit.
Are there any classic and vintage (museum or private) collections to visit whilst on holiday beginning October '14? Shall be over from England staying in Atlanta/Chattanooga/Charleston for 2 weeks. Thanks everyone, Rob. aussiemusicman robertjporch@gmail.com

is just a real cool dude
I've seen a better collection from a private owner in town then to both "bicycle" museums I've been to. This fellow has more bikes then the shop I work at has in stock. My jaw drops every time I see it and we're not talking about cruiser bikes and Varsities. Lol.

The Metz collection of Bicycles1 in Brick NJ is incredible. This was my introduction into classic and vintage bikes. David helped me out with a basket case I brought to him, dropped what he was doing and spent a good hour helping me out. Sadly, life moves on. Perhaps the museum will be open again someday.

The mountain bike museum in Statesville NC is about 80% road bikes. The are many team bike frames on the second floor. I bet he has 50 bikes on the ceiling
