Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I, personally, hope as a society we can move ever forward toward the clean, the revered, the honored. I suppose flashy colors, loud graphics, and stupid phrases are the flavor of the month.

I thought they were swastikas at first, closer scrutiny proved me wrong of course. But yeah, I guess I'm too much of a traditionalist (ie, boring old bugga) to be impressed by modern bling.

Does absolutely nothing for me. In fact I find it quite unattractive.

Reminds me of PMC BMX cranks from the 90's. They're kinda cool.

I find nice shapes and lines pretty. And when color(s) compliments a particular design, all the better.

When I look at that, all I see is visual noise. Instead of eye candy, it's like uneven eye angst.

I dig the chainring with the deep carbon rims and loud paint. Crankarm isn't exactly a looker, though.

I really dig the chainring and spider (minus the graphics) but that crankarm just kills the whole thing.
