Today I rode to my "Local" bike shop. They moved from the neighboring village (13 miles) to a small city nearby (18 miles). I just wanted to say hi to the guys and chat.
They were having a black friday thing and they game me a gift bag which had a patch kit and these socks with the shop logo.![](https://bikeforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=490525)
I also bought a bike. They had a Dahon Boardwalk (SS) at half price. Couldn't pass it up. I may try to "fix" it, but the rear spacing is 110mm. No pics of the bike as it stayed in the shop.

Nice, I'd like to have a folder in my stable. Today I set up internet in my new apartment. Settling in is a slow process.

Thanksgiving morning my neighbour knocked down our shared mailbox. One post, two mailboxes on a patch of grass between our driveways.
He fixes his mailbox but not ours. He puts a single post back up, off center btw, takes his box off the other post he left on the ground with our mailbox.
How do I proceed?
I asked him about it and he acted like he didn't speak English.

I rode 25 miles and beat the rain that was coming. Contemplating burning money with the Retrogression sale.

last minute choice to change to 2.15 instead of 2.35's was a good one. these are the absolute max this frame can fit. dented the chainstays a bit for some more clearance

I should just give you my money to build me a bike.

This worked. I just put my box on his post. He wasn't using it anymore.
Seriously though, I've already talked to the guy like I said. And that got me nowhere. I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna knock his down so I can repair the original box, and I'll make sure to leave his laying on the ground. Hopefully he'll get the point.

God that frame is cool. I wonder what their thinking was putting two cage mounts on the downtube instead of the seat tube?

Nice tire choice - that bike makes me just wanna ride over random crap for fun!

3.5hrs today mid z2. meant to do four, but was short on daylight. mtb tomorrow.
Had a killer ride on Turkey Day, 2.5hrs. Kept a steady ~200w over the first half, then released the hounds over the second half.

Getting stronger rules. If I can keep this up without getting sick or injured, I should kick ass and earn my cat2 in no time next year.
