Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

riser bars and a new chainring. brakeless + spinny = win!

This should be sold in the next week or two. Kinda makes me sad but also need the $$$ for racks/bags for light touring & maybe a MTB

I recently searched for a pair and found them NOS. Paul no longer produces them which I think is unfortunate.

They'll be on a frame with 130mm rear spacing.

Randor "Hi tech" 10 speed, converted to Fixed gear. STEEL FRAME.

People said Randors are crap. I absolutely LOVE this bike. I highly recommend building up steel Randor frames.

The white tape balances the bike out perfectly.

The rig has been known to frequent the many brewpubs along the W&OD trail.

It's dat Caleido tape - you can see the multicolor speckles through the perforations, I love it.

Hey, I can actually post something in this thread now. I recently got my first ss/fixie (depending on the flip o' th' flop), which was the very last 55cm frame size Vice 2.0 from State Bicycle Co. I switched out the saddle, stem, handlebar, and brake levers, and added the rack. I haven't yet ridden this one very far, as I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I tried it as a singlespeed initially, but there's an obnoxious noise that comes from the cheap freewheel while riding, so I'm going to see if I can figure out the fixed gear thing.

I've been mildly interested in the Ribble house brand for a while. Interesting to see one in the wild.
