Hope in one hand, and crap in the other. See which one fills up first.

Here I come!!!

P.S. your end of tour points for Froome on GC are probably going to crush me, but I can still enjoy a good troll, can't I?

I've been dragged back to the pack, with pigah and leo sucking my wheel! pigah will surely come out of my draft with bardet leading him out to take a podium spot. merde!

Geez...Bardet was one second away from dropping to 4th! My head spins trying to figure out final standings. Will just have to wait until tomorrow!

congrats to andras and the titanium racers on taking the whole enchilada! 334 out of 54,700+ is nothing to sneeze at.
well played! i think your only really notable loss was gesink. woulda been nice to have kittel finish and keep the green
till the end but at least he was a worthy 1300 points. was a really tough tour to keep the major players playing.

i like the recent "grand tour standings" on your individual pages taking your giro and tdf finishes into account.

that said, hoping to see you all in a few sun-drenched weeks for the vuelta-my fave out of all the fantasy races.

ciaofornow!

Well played everyone! In the end, the loss of Sagan and Kittel was too big for me to hold on to the podium...credit goes to Pigah for getting Froome AND Bardet on the team!

Thank you all, it was super fun to follow the tour with a chance to win in the league. I will definitely join the BF vuelta league. I put much more thought into the team than before and it paid off. Obviously I was also lucky.

Who does one for La Vuelta?
Having never played before and really only knowing about 3 riders before hand, I took as much knowledge from you guys here into the game with me. Pretty pleased that I came in the top 10% of the total players playing & 5th in the league so I owe it all to youz guyz!

bragging rights, slcbob. bragging rights...which usually devolve into pettiness, jealousy, snarkiness,
shunning, plausible deniability and victor shaming. but then you've experienced both sides of the coin-
n'est ce pas?

Really beginner's luck, or are you just trolling us masterfully? Either way, well played, Leo59, well played.

With the Vuelta starting this year on a Saturday, you'll sign up the way ooga-booga described. If it was on a Tuesday, it would be different. Be sure to get some help from a trusted friend...

Both sides? No, I'm pretty much just stuck somewhere on the good natured chuckles side, though I'm sure it looks petty and snarky to some . I have yet to see any deniability here that is plausible. Though plenty of plausible stupidity.

Speaking of petty, isn't it great that they're tracking the overall grand tours standing? I was rooting for you to win yellow here. I tried to drag you to the front but you fell off my wheel Aru-like. This would have been a great look.

Definitely, definitely beginners luck. Lurking here plus mom follows the TdF only so I asked her for a list of names so that helped (she gave me Froome, Cav & Porte). The only thing that I can say in my favor is that I'm a veteran of fantasy sports. Some of my friends say that I need an intervention once they learned that I was playing in two NRL and a Pro Cycling league . 2 baseball, 2 NFL, 4 EPL, 1 Bundesliga, 2 NRL and 1 NHL. Now Pro cycling

I've always said that playing fantasy sports helps a new fan of a sport learn the names, stats, etc.

you pretty much nailed my personal dress code. swap out the dress shoes for flip-flops and it's a dead ringer for me. oh, and i have black gloves
which aren't the easiest to internet with. buzz buzz.
