New Mash Frameset
Looks to be extremely similar to the Tutto and old Work:
Will be interesting to see how Mash survives without Cinelli, really seemed like they needed each other to be successful.

On that note I think the frame looks awesome. I thought Cinelli and Columbus tubing were one and the same? Be interesting to know who by and where the frames are made.

Forgetting the headset installation, I like the colors and the general idea but that fork has always bothered me. They should really just rip off the steel Vigorelli headtube and fork. There's something sorta fragile looking about those thin fork blades that doesn't say MASH to me.

As it should be, considering MASH had everything to do with the design concept.
Considering nobody really cares about the Tutto, I'm sure MASH will sell a ton of those new frames.

I am glad to see a new Work frame out. I love mine and was worried it might not still be around. Granted I really don't care who makes it (up to a point) I just dig the bike and it is a fun ride.

IIRC, Cinelli has been owned by Columbus since at least the mid-1980s. But the businesses remained largely separate, and Columbus will sell their tubing to anybody.

Does Cinelli have their own factory in Taiwan for their frames or is it just contracted out? Seems so common these days, less and less is being made in-house anymore.

Yeah I know, what I meant is Gruppo is the parent company for Cinelli and Columbus tubing, so the MASH frame will still be indirectly connected with Cinelli in some regard.

No need for over-explaining. The Gazzetta is produced for Cinelli in Colossi's factory and always has been.
Colossi makes really nice frames for a lot of companies so that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Is this frame a little portly?
Mash says it is 2900g (6.4 lb). For $850 I'd expect something a little lighter, no?

Why does price have anything to do with weight?
The Cinelli MASH Work frameset wasn't light either. It's a multi-use bike designed and built to take a beating on or off road, not a track frame.

I’d fux with that chainring on my bareknuckle
But the frame eh... the Mash Work was hugely successful because there was a void in the market but honestly id rather own a rugged 1x11 cross bike now for my n+1
