Eccentric bottom bracket question
In the process of converting my Cannondale R900 to a SS... Problem is it has vertical dropouts and I don't want an ugly ass tensioner. How does the eccentric BB work? What spindle would I use?

Aside from this kook who claims he invented one back in 2006 I've never heard of an eccentric square-taper BB that works in a 68mm threaded BB shell, so you may be up the creek.

Unless your frame is designed to use an eccentric bottom bracket, you're not likely to find one that will fit.
You could, however, use an eccentric hub, such as the one from White Industries:

R+E makes the Bushnell eccentric and you may want to call or email to see they have a solution.
Worth a 30 second email to find out.

My face always lights up with a smile when I see that little red script Phil logo. I know it is MUSA quality that hasn't changed and won't change.

Phil isn't about trend setting new products all the time, they are about making high quality stuff for various applications. They still make BBs and cups for Swiss threads and Chater-Lea because if they don't who will and if someone can still get nice parts for their old bike, it is pretty nifty.

I feel the same way. They recently had a post on their IG feed showing a new batch threaded EBB's being made and I couldn't believe there is enough demand. I love that they're the kind of company who will make just about anything you need if you're serious enough about it.
