Today so far I've done 9.5 km to work. Yesterday after work I did 58 km, of which 10 km were on gravel, 3 km on forest trails.

Yesterday afternoon I went 4.8 miles. My first "real" solo ride. I just started cycling in March, so I am new to the sport. I am also a small/petite female so I am working through my little fears of going out by myself, as silly as that may sound. This past Saturday when I was with my boyfriend we did 10 miles. I try to get out daily even if it's a short ride.

46 miles. To downtown LA, with a stop at Porto's Cuban Bakery, then back home on Metrolink. Great day, great ride!

10 miles this afternoon. It was my first ride of the year and the first exercise of any kind I've had since the first week of January when I contracted the flu and lost all motivation.

Today was to food store then back. Grabbed a bite to eat and back on bike out to Walk-In for overdue T shot then off to Walmart for some additional food shopping. After my Friday night into Saturday AM jaunt I spent the remaining time chilling and sleepin.
We had our local Cancer Society's Venice Airport Relay for Life last night. Relay For Life of Venice Sign Up For Relay For Life of Relay For Life of Venice
7pm Friday to 7am Saturday.
In 2015 I committed to walk half my age overnight and thus completed 32.5 miles around the track. Again in 2016 I walked the then required 33 miles; HOWEVER, last year with worsening knees I decided to bicycle overnight instead and wound up leading off the Survivor's Lap and then leaving the airport to ride local roads and finished the 11 hours of bicycling time with 152 miles. BEGINING last night I was hoping to exceed the 152 mile distance but life got in the way with a need it now Prostate Biopsy this past Monday because a recent scan revealed a possible return of my Gleason-10 PCa.
Installing an Easy Seat https://www.amazon.com/Hobson-Easyse.../dp/B000GBK4Z4 on my Paramount I set off butt after 52 SLOW miles I had enough. Swapped out seat for my standard cheapo padded seat rested up a bit and then it was back on the road into blowing headwinds for the 18 miles back to the airport. ONLY able to get in 101 miles overnight AND OF COURSE as soon as I got back the wind dropped to ZERO.

About 22 miles. From home out past the Solano flea market. Then west on Imhoff past the cement plant to Blum road. At that left turn onto Pacheco Blvd the very nice CHP officer that I was sharing the lane with let me turn left as he was going straight onto the highway. I had signalled. Muir road up the hill to the CC canal path and back home. Several short steep ups and downs on that path. I stopped at Big Dave’s LBS and chatted for a bit about what bike I might buy. Weather great riding too.

I had a busy day. Did some hard garden work digging up and moving around plants, then scrubbed the wood back porch for an hour. But it was too nice this afternoon not to go, did 16, but felt the prior. Creeping up on 100, got to get those early miles in if I hope to make 2200 like last year.
