It has cantis and the cranks are too long, but for $100, I'm super-happy with my first SSCX bike.

I am thinking about buying a set of Snoqualmie Pass tires for my Hunqapillar. It will easily fit the larger Antelope Hill tires but I'm finding I agree with Jan Heine that a big wheel/tire radius detracts from handling. I love the cush of the large 50+ mm tires I've been riding but I much prefer the handling of the bike with 38mm tires.
My decision is whether to go 700 x 44 or invest in another bike and go the 650b x 47 route.

Forgive the photos it was almost dark and there long exposures but I'm excited. Just finished the fine tuning for the maiden ride tomorrow.
It's a 92-93 Giant Innova "was" flat bar hybrid turned gravel bike. I had it kicking around the shed nearly 30 years and completely restored the frame/fork then rebuilt it with many parts I had. Can't wait to ride it again the test rides down the driveway feel light handling and smooth.

Near the end of ride the chain didn't go down to the small ring on the front once then once dropped the chain off the small ring at the front but think that's related to using a old mtb derailleur with compact crank. It was working great though so I'll have a close look tomorrow. The sti's only cost me $108 aus, they'll be much cheaper in the states so think there a great buy.

Thanks. The sti's are SENSAH Ignite which is there "ultegra" level but 9 speed group. Empire is there top line, look like Shimano copy's, shift like Sram. They worked flawlessly today and feel and look top quality in the hands. Shifting feels light sharp and spot on, if there's a minor "very minor" gripe is while braking on the tops it's possible to accidentally shift a gear at the rear, I didn't do it but felt it could happen.
