Picked up this 1994 Parkpre Team 925 for the wife as a new trail ride. I didn't know much about them, but they have a pretty cool history. Solid components and that classic 90's MTB look and colors. Should clean up nice and look like new.

Here is my 1987 Raleigh Seneca Mountain Tour. I am the original owner. Bought it when I was in college. It’s been kept indoors for its entire life except for 2 years that I was in an apartment and did not have space to keep it inside. The only change is swapping out the straight handlebars this summer to upright ones.

1990 Raleigh Technium Peak. This was Raleigh’s top of the line mountain bike that year, the same year I graduated high school. I picked this one up from a local online ad several years ago, and in 2013 I rode it with my 12 year old scout for “bike the bear”, a 50 mile ride around Bear Lake in northern Utah/Idaho. It’s been in various guises over the years but here’s how it sits today:
Missing the headbadge so it gets a local ski resort sticker instead!
Hadley hubs - truly the hubs of the gods!

Hi Deepcherry, there is a very similar Ascent EX for sale for cheap in my area (same paint job, but horizontal top tube, so perhaps one or two years older). What tubes do these bikes have? Is it double butted or straight gauge? Anything else I should be aware of?

Just "finished" my 1987 Ritchey Ultra which I picked up as just a frame a few months ago. Had to borrow the seatpost and saddle from my Ascent Comp, but took it on a local trail today and absolutely loved it.
Full M730 XT build (still on the hunt for a 26.8 XT or Strong seatpost)
RM-20 rims + Smoke & Dart re-issues
Ritchey Force Stem + Hyperlite Answer bars
Bike is mostly how I want it built, just missing a correct seat post and Hite Rite to match the Hite Rite sticker it came with.

I've had nothing to post in the mountain bike thread for a while because I sold every mountain bike available, new and classic during the "pandemic summer" season. Just Friday I picked up this 1995 Norco Katmandu in a nearby town for a decent price. In very good condition save a wow in the rear wheel and cracked tires. You can see more here: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...du-20-mtb.html

Deepcherry Nice mountain machine! What rear panniers are those? Would not mind something like that on one of my Schwinn!

My ‘91 has Tange CrMo Double butted tubes, as stated on the seat tube sticker, and CoMo forks.
Thanks

thanks!
Ipicked up these unused panniers really cheap (10€) locally, they are quite basic, but with a heavy fabric, the badge says “PRO-X CYCLING ADVENTURE”

I found them at this company. My first build and there was nothing left of the old ones in the tubes.

Found this Apollo Kuwuhara near a dumpster while walking through the neighbourhood. It needs a lot of tlc, very rusty chain, bent left brake lever and best of all the forks are skewed to the side, not bent backwards and no real sign of other damage, I am certain they can be straightened though. Not sure of the model and looks to be around 1982 - 1984 or so. I believe the unicrown forks were almost in full use by 1985, had a top end Kuwuhara ( Sierra Grand ) that was so equipped.
It has TA knockoff crankset, Dia Compe brakes, Suntour Mountech front derailleur and a Shimano LX rear which I imagine was replaced at some point. Nitto alloy handlebars, nutted high flange hubs, basically appears to be around a mid level.
I never thought I would end up with another vintage mountain bike but should be good for local trails. I am now enjoying randonneur bikes but would be a nice project to bring this back to life, free is always a good start if it does not cost too much eventually.

1991 Bridgestone MB-1
Picked this up about two months ago off CL. Looks to be mostly original, down to the dork disc and wheel reflectors! Plan to ride it before making any major changes. Just made a few minor changes. Swapped out the 26 x 1.5 slicks for 26 x 2.0 knobbies, took off the bar ends and put on a new set of ODI Dreadlock grips and pulled a Turbo saddle out of the stash.

I've been working on this little bike for my wife and daughter to use chasing a grandkid around some trails.
Bought the frame and fork on the bay, added bits and pieces.
Mid 90's Terry Jacaranda S.
STX mountain bike groupset.
