Not pathetic at all. There is no designated age range for race fit/aero jerseys. The only qualification is the desire to go fast.

If it flaps, it's not fast.

I know a 72 YO male that I have ridden with in the next town over. He is a former racer, and has a majority of the KOMs for the 65-70 age group, has the latest cycling equipment and (GASP) still wears race fit jerseys. He can blow my doors off when he wants to and looks good in his jerseys.

A friend who is 71, I think, has the body of a 35 year old athlete, at least he looks that way, He's pretty fast and generally stays with the fast groups on hilly rides. And he always looks sharp. More power to him, he's worked very hard to stay in top shape.

Team jerseys are pretty expensive plus I don't want to be covered in adverts like a NASCAR car, but the new Canyon kit might shake the moths out of my wallet.

Such a joyful photo of the women's team!

I agree, that is why at 85 I wear regular T-shirts, and rugby shorts. And the good deal here is that fact that neither one costs over $15. And further, I really dont care one whit what people think I look like. The fact here is that most people dont think anyway!!!

There are an infinite number of high quality jerseys, full kit, helmets, etc., that do not have team sponsor's names on them.

Maybe don't worry about what other people think and wear what you like.

That said, I will make fun of people wearing Italian dish soap sponsor logos, French telephone companies, or similar graphics (on their kit) that obviously have nothing to do with them. I live in New Orleans where many people dress up in "costumes" like it's Mardi Gras 365 days a year. So I'm desensitized to people dressing up like pirates, super heroes, well known celebrities, and Grand Tour cycle race competitors. It still makes me laugh. You shouldn't care.

I have. I want what I saw on a tee shirt on Roatan when I dove at Anthony’s Key Resort. I kick myself in the butt for not buying it.
It’s a skull and crossed swords with the words around it saying “ Drinking, Pillaging, Flogging, Wenching. Just another day on the job!

I don't know a lot of the racers by name but the third one from the left is katsia niewiadoma. She's a great rider, won the gravel Worlds, and is a fun interview.

jadmt FYI and for others, the pic of the young ladies in brown attire has been removed. It's been a banned pic on BF for several years, now.

Carry on.
