2008 Novara Randonee Pricing?

I recently was in rei and saw a couple of 2008 Novara Randonee's. The price was around $709.

Anyone ever saw previous year models with a lower price than this?

That's a damn good deal!

Around here sizes are hard to come by, so if they have one in your size jump on that soon.

There's a 52cm at the REI in Brookfield west of Milwaukee for either $706 or $709. I think it's a 2007. They also have a 2007 57cm for $749. I was there yesterday, and was surprised to find the 57 at the outer reaches of being the right fit for me. It was disappointing to not take it home with me.

That's a terrific deal, IMO. Those Randonees are well-spec'ed.

The REI in Oak Brook Il has two 52cm for 749$!

Great deal but I went with an '08 Safari which was more in my budget (629$). There are some really solid deals going on right now!

I bought an 08 Randonee recently for use as my general-purpose all-around bike. At $749 I couldn't pass it up. These bikes are pretty well spec'd and very comfortable.

My wife was looking to get the randonee bike, and we were going to wait until the member sale this spring. However, yesterday i decided to call every REI within 50 mile radius and found a 2008 in her size. I think that for $709 +tax it is truly hard to beat! Great looking bike, and she loves the feel of the ride. Can't wait to go on a tour with her now, because before all she had was a trek hybrid that was difficult on climbs and uncomfortable for her on 40+ mile days.

To save time next time, call the closest REI to you and they can look on the inventory system and see what stores have what you are looking for.
