Helmet Recomendations?

So I'm looking for a new helmet and really like the bmx/skateboard style of helmets. Can someone recommend me some?
I've been eyeing this so far: https://www.amazon.com/Giro-Section-M...ds=giro+helmet

If you are set on a bmx/ skate helmet go to a skateboard shop and try some helmets on to find what fits. Then buy it there.

I would highly recomend you get a bike helmet, they are much lighter and much better ventelated. For that go to a bike shop, then follow the other directions above.

Protec makes some pretty amazing helmets. I had this one and loved it. Highly recommended.

for skate style: Bern. or maybe POC.

but in the end, whatever fits the best. if it's comfy, you'll wear it.

I most likely will be ordering of amazon since I'm assuming it would be a lot cheaper than buying it from my LBS.

You'll notice from looking at other people that everyone has a slightly different shaped head and because of this some helmets will not fit well and are super uncomfortable (they also sit funny and look stupid - god forbid). You're best off going and trying a whole lot on. If after trying them on you still feel like saving 20 bucks and not giving it to your local business, buy it on amazon.

I was like you looking for urban/skate types of helmets. What kind of riding do you do? Whats the temperature where you live?

I had originally went with bern, soon after I had purchased a road helmet because I very much needed the ventilation and something lighter.

But I would go with Bern or Protec
