July 2019 100 Mile/km Thread...Summer Is REALLY Here!
June was hot. It won’t be any better this month! There’s already the July Stravie thread. Report your miles there or report them here, I don’t judge.

I’m worn out from last month and have a few days out of town coming up. I’ll try for 500 this month.

July Goal: 300 miles
July 1 - 26.8 miles - 10.1 on '97 Trek (lunch hour) - 16.7 on '11 Fuji (after work)
June to date: 26.8 miles
2019 to date: 686.3 miles
Wanted to get off to a strong start for July because I know I'm going to have to really work to get 300 miles - I have about a week and a half this month where work situation will prevent me from riding.

Still trying to acclimate to heat. First ride with Nuun hydration tablets was OK.
July MTD - 58.1 miles
July Goal - TBD. Need to look at schedule

If you had told me a year ago I'd be riding 10 miles on a Monday morning, I would have called you nuts!

June was not good to me due to work schedules and weather schedules that didn't mesh. This month my goal is 150 miles (again).

You guys are leaving me behind. I’m in Little Rock for a few days. Hoping to rent a bike and get a short ride in along the Riverfront Trail tomorrow.

My wife and I had the day off for the 4th of July, put the bikes in the rack at around 7:30 am and drove over to Greensboro and rode the Atlantic-Yadkin Greenway and some side trips off of it. The Atlantic-Yadkin Greenway itself is 7.5 miles, so end-to-end it's about 15 miles, but we also rode at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park - they have some nice paved bike paths - a side trip to a cafe for some sweet snacks - and a few other short side trips - almost got 20 miles.
Happy Independence Day! There's always somebody trying to take your freedom away - when that happens - FIGHT! Sic Tempus Tyrannis! Live Free or Die!

Still have leftover Shingles rash, itchy as all get out. But the rest is fading fast.
July 4 1.5 miles, Had to go watch the local parade!
July 4 16 miles, out with my daughter and her hubby, and cut the ride short due to bad weather, hail and rain just minutes after stopping...
17.5 total, no real goal...
