Cool, Wild, Crazy, Classy paint jobs - Post them up!

Post up your cool Wild Crazy or Classy paint jobs. May be something you searched but don't have as well.

I've got some ideas for a frame I just got and want to paint over the beat repaint it has. I've decided that for a little extra effort I might as well have something neat or crazy.

I've seen some cool stuff on here. For myself I was thinking of things like:
Holdsworth Orange
Schwinn Super Sport color frame with Black rear stays
Color fade front to rear
Triple color fade or triple color panels front to back (flag style)
Even Camo, dots, tiger stripes, scales etc

(I'm having little luck with search function. Too few unique terms I guess.)

My old Allegro (Swiss, mid '60s);

Some other guy's "smoked" (actually done in the factory with an acetalene torch set really rich) Allegro;

Smoke is cool! I was not gutsy enough to try this one out as I have to torch and figured I'd mess it up anyhow.

Ciocc Designer Mystery number. Lovely baby blue fade, with a thread pattern + pinstriping. Those Italians knew how to paint lovely bikes.

This Giant struck me as somewhat crazy:

Sadly, it was too large for me.

My favorite was the mid-80's Tommasini "quattro colori" paint scheme.

Someone had to post the Ironman. One of my faves. One day I'll get to experiment with some wild paint schemes. Until then, I'm limited to what my girlfriend wants on her bike.

The wildest paint I have (so far) is my '91 GT Tequesta's factory "Moody Blues" paint job. This style was popular back in the early 90s.

( I hope I'm not stealing his thunder here, but-) I would submit that Sixty Fiver's Decoupaged GS is one of the coolest "paint jobs" I've seen.

When I first saw this paint scheme, I had to have it. Too late in the year to order a frameset so I bought a complete that wasn't that much more money anyway. I still like it.

The paint is black with a light gold metallic mixed in the clearcoat. Mostly it's only visible along the edge of the tubes while the tubes themselves look black (backlit), sometimes that reverses. It's really tough to photograph and these two pics are as close as I can get.

Well, my Master Lite has a pretty cool paint job.

I always liked the paint on this Cannondale I had (purple fizz or something like that):

I always liked my Reus. I wager Marty will be along shortly with his rather colorful Reus

And then there is this...

Though I have had some brightly colored Concords, this early eighties Proctor-Townsend is about the brightest to ever enter The Old Shed...
