Unaffiliated with this retailer, just passing along a deal that was mentioned on singlespeed/fixed gear:

Most of the colors are out of stock. Easy to have a great price when you're out of stock. It's an old, dirty trick.

Maybe they were in stock when they set the price, so I won't accuse them of playing that trick, but beware.

I think the problem is that the items are selling out before they can update their stock on the website to reflect that they're sold out. Not necessarily a trick. Might be, but I'm not so certain it's intentional.

No, it's probably not intentional, but some businesses seem to do it intentionally.

All three colors were in stock this morning, when I noticed the free shipping and pounced. Great deal, and thanks a lot for the heads up.

I am sad that I didn't get to grab a brown :/

Oh well, I bought 2 honeys even though I only need one. If I don't need it, I can still sell one and come out with a profit. Brooks are always easy to sell at prices close to retail.

Just wanted to thank you again for the heads up. My B17 arrived today, and I'm very excited to get my first new Brooks. I've ridden used ones that were broken in on somebody else's arse for so long, I can't wait to break this in on mine.
