Speaking of polishing, I'm sending this Nervar crankset I recently brought back to life to Frank the Welder to have the big 54T chainring drilled to accept a 30T granny. I wonder if it will weaken the big chainring (but since no one can comment, who cares if the ring breaks and I get thrown into the rocks on the side of an isolated NH road)?
Anyway, before, as it came off a 1975 Schwinn Sports Tourer.
And after polishing in preparation to send it to Frank (you can see the granny in the back ground).

Im thinking about getting a used Pontiac Vibe so I can haul a couple of bikes around indoors. If I keep them in there all the time I can buy a couple more bikes to take up their space in the garage.

I've always thought it odd that Team Panasonic rode Raleigh bikes.

I have nothing bike related. This, according to the potter who made her, is Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn is filled with tea today.

Wooden boats are cool, it was a pleasure to be part of the team to build this,
I was responsible for the dash design, and all the systems onboard, among other things.
320hp yanmar, 32kts, would do 5 more If we took the skeg out of it but that was the client wanted
It was not cheap- final bill was over 500k

The 1936 Mercedes Benz Autobahn-kurier coupe in 1/18th scale..... A massive but beautifully elegant classic car......
MB sold bikes from their dealerships, you know, And I think they came in black and silver....just like this car....
