My favorite isn't C&V. I have a DeRosa Neo Primato that I have had for almost 10 years. Kids are gone, so are ex wives.......the DeRosa is always with me. Haha My other two bikes are '87 Waterford Paramount and a '84 Trek 660.

Banned.
No brainer. For tons of reasons. Not the highest end group, wheelset, saddle, or even frame. Just does it all.
However, did a shakedown ride today on an Eddy, and boy, they are gonna fight it out.

my moto gr is the most comfortable. i don't really know why. the top tube is the longest of my bikes, all with the same sized seat tubes. the wheels are not the lightest with their 36h straight gauge spokes in each. (my falcon is much lighter.) i think this gives the bike an edge in touring stability and overall feel. i replaced the original suntour cyclone for campy record, and it shifts flawlessly. modern calipers and levers are comfortable and smooth. it's kind of too nice for me really.

Right now I'd have to pick my 71 Super Sport with a tripple and Suntour 6 speed freewheel. That could change in the next few days when I finish up the 83 Trek 600. Haven't put miles on the 600 yet, but I think I'll like it. I'm glad I don't have to choose, what would I do with my 85 Trek 660. or my other 71 Super Sport, or my 2013 mountain bike or my Coda Comp, or....

My '74 high-ten Moto Grand Touring.

The ahaa momemnt when I found out some one makes a bike larger than 65cm with a top tube longer than 60cm led me to the Bridgestone 400. A bike that finally fit me was heaven. This is my third version of the same bike.

Simple response for me -- my Waterford RST-22. It's a custom frame that I bought used for a bargain price, but the best-fitting and riding bike I have ever owned. It is also very practical, with mounts for fenders and racks and clearance for larger tires. Since about 3/4 of my riding these days is bike commuting, the Waterford gets a lot of use.

I wouldn't keep my A1. The most precious is my 1981 Marinoni Pista Special. It is a work of art, made in Canada and has Maple leaf cut outs and crown embossing. I never ride this bike because I don't live near a velodrome anymore. If I had only one bike it would be a touring bike of some kind and not the one I have exactly, but some type of monstercross like the frame I just built.
