KHS Aero Turbo - what year and what's it worth?
My wife and I found this KHS Aero Turbo at a garage sale. From what I can find on Bikepedia, they were a pretty expensive bike in their time?
It is in somewhat rough shape, but I'm no bike expert so maybe all it needs is new tires and a tuneup.
I'm attaching a few pictures. If anybody could give me any idea of value, that would be great!

I say 100 - 150 or so, pending seeing the drive side components. and how cleaned up and ready to ride you make it.
Also that stem is a major misfit and I;d bet its above its minimum insertion. I think a frame this small may require a special stem to fit properly.

Expensive in their time? That is pretty relative I believe the Tange 9000 (?) frame and the Alpha 5000 group would put it in the $450ish range.

I'd put on fresh rubber and bar tape, tune her up and try to get $275 here in Portland, OR CL. It would take a while to find a small person looking for some classic lugged steel, though.

Dang, I guess it needs a different saddle too. Ouch. Time to dig through the takeoff bin.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm still working my way into road cycling and know nothing about doing any bike work myself. I've had somebody offer me $75 as is. Should I take it or hold out for more? The bike is too small for me and isn't worth paying somebody to do all the upgrades since I can't do them myself, so I want to cash out on it and use the proceeds to support work on my current road bike.
