1970 Paramount value
No plans on selling this, I’m just curious to the value. The prices are all over the place on these, I know what I paid but I bought it from a friend. Everything is is originally correct except tires, cables and bar tape.

Solds are relatively consistent, $2000 +/- depending on size, components, surface rust, and shipping ability. Ones that are XL, some surface rust, and components not Campy tend to bring less. One XL went for just $840 with such issues.
As always, ASKING prices are all over the map. Hope springs eternal. Why some can ask $8900 is beyond comprehension. Highest SOLD in the last two years was $2,750, and the prices drop off rapidly. Lowest in the last two years was $720.
Prices do appear to be softening.

I sold a 1975 silver painted Paramount like yours that was in truly pristine condition. I sold it for $1,800, then received an offer for $2,300 the next day. Oh well. I have a nice orange touring Paramount that's been ridden but taken care of. It's not selling at $1,100.

Not sure if it matters on value but on another post about my bike this was mentioned.
That's an interesting one! A '70 that still has the earlier fork blades, but has the tighter frame geometry of the revised P13-9, no braze-ons on the top tube, and despite being this late, has both Nervex lugs and pinstriping.
Probably not many quite like this one out there. Fantastic score.

Beautiful bike. The market is far from predictable, but if you decided to sell at some point, I see no reason why it wouldn't be worth >$2000.00 to someone out there. As alexihnen mentioned, sometimes waiting an extra day or two when offers start to come in can make a big difference. I'm glad to see that you have no plan on selling. Enjoy it!

I'm sure for some that constitutes a grail bike. That bodes well for pricing. Make sure you wax the heck out of it to protect the finish!
